How does it work?
 

The Peach bookkeeping process delivers accuracy, clarity, and actionable insights, from setup to ongoing management.

 

Every step is designed to keep your financial data reliable and ready for decision-making. From initial account setup and cleanup to regular reporting and review, our process moves efficiently while keeping every detail in focus. 


Here’s how we take your books from uncertainty to performance-grade clarity.

  • Peach BPO starts with a comprehensive, no-cost diagnostic to evaluate your current accounting setup, workflows, and system integrations.
     

    This includes:

    • Requesting direct access to accounting systems and other relevant tools

    • Assessing the health of records, including historical transactions and reconciliations

    • Listing all bank accounts, loans, and financial instruments

    • Highlighting potential barriers or technical limitations that may affect service delivery
       

    The insights guide your scope of services, timeline, and proposal.

  • After the diagnostic review in the bookkeeping process, Peach BPO prepares a tailored proposal that translates the findings into a structured plan of engagement. 

     

    The proposal clearly outlines:

     

    • Scope of services – Which bookkeeping and support functions we will manage

    • Deliverables — Expected outputs, such as monthly reconciliations, financial reports, AP/AR summaries, or custom reports

    • Pricing structure – Transparent cost breakdown aligned with scope and complexity

     

    Once approved, the service agreement is signed, establishing a clear understanding of scope, timelines, and billing.

  • Peach BPO starts the bookkeeping onboarding process by scheduling the kickoff meeting as soon as possible, usually within four days of signing unless a different timeline is agreed. 

     

    During this session, you’ll meet the Peach team to align expectations, review reporting needs, goals, and challenges, and provide systems access promptly so we can begin the setup process efficiently.

     

    During the kickoff, we:

    • Define Success – Ask targeted questions to understand your goals for bookkeeping, reporting, and overall business support, so our work is aligned with what matters most to you.

    • Confirm Access & Credentials – Ensure all necessary logins and permissions are in place for a smooth workflow.

    • Review Scope & Reporting – Clarify the services outlined in your agreement, review deliverables, and discuss any additional needs.

    We hold weekly check-ins for the first 4–6 weeks, then shift to bi-weekly once workflows stabilize.

  • After the kickoff, we build a bookkeeping structure tailored to your business:

     

    • Cleanup and Enrichment: Our team meticulously reviews and organizes your existing records, ensuring every client, vendor, and transaction is accurate, complete, and ready for use.

    • Systems & Tools Setup: We configure our custom Peach tools or develop new ones if needed to fully support your specific engagement. Each tool is designed to meet the following criteria:

      • Consistent & Repeatable

      • Monitored & Tracked

      • Efficient & Streamlined

    This step is very critical and takes time, especially when new systems need to be integrated or custom tools built. Every element is made accurate, traceable, and ready for ongoing service. 

     

    These foundations set the stage for reliable, performance-grade reporting.

  • Once we’re able to produce preliminary financial reports, we’ll set up a meeting to review them with you.

     

    This step ensures:
     

    • Numbers are clear and actionable – Presented in a way that aligns with your business needs.

    • Feedback is captured for refinement – We confirm our understanding and make adjustments to formats, detail, or schedules based on your input.

    • Standard reporting package finalized – Once refined, these reports become your ongoing reporting template, providing reliable insights from day one as we transition into ongoing bookkeeping.

     

    From here, reports are delivered consistently, usually within 10 business days of each closing period, and we review them with you regularly so you always know where your business stands.
